Strengthening Workplace Safety: WAPP Invests in HSE Training
Recognizing the importance of safety and following its HSE Policy, the WAPP held a safety training for its staff in preparation for any emergency situation. Under the competent supervision of firefighters from the municipality of Abomey-Calavi, Benin, this training allowed WAPP employees to grasp essential basics of safety, protection, and first aid.
Gathered in the Makojou conference room, staff had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and familiarize themselves with safety procedures through informative scenarios. Following this, a practical demonstration on the use of fire extinguishers was conducted, with active participation from volunteers within the team.
This interactive experience not only enhanced individual firefighting skills but also underscored the significance of ongoing safety training in the workplace. As an organization committed to the well-being of its members, the WAPP Secretariat acknowledges the imperative of readiness in the face of potential risks and is committed to maintaining high safety standards to ensure a safe and protected working environment for all.
